A: If your current web hosting provider can no longer match the necessities of your site, or if you go through constant network downtime, or if you are made to wait for hours for the help desk support staff to reply back to you, it might be a good idea to change your hosting provider, i.e. to move all the files for your sites as well as your databases from your current provider to your new provider. At RoiBot Web Hosting, we understand that this can be hard and time–consuming. That’s the reason why we’ll do all that for you at no cost!Our proficient technical staff representatives will migrate your site content from your current provider to us. Our techs have got a lot of experience migrating web sites and are able to handle everything – from an ordinary WordPress–powered blog or Joomla^™ CMS–powered site, to a very complex, custom–built web application.

A: While we can’t give you an exact time window, since there are lots of variables, including the size of the files and databases, the physical location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will give our best to transfer your site within 48 hours, and in certain cases – within 24 hours (in case the website content is not large).

A: We do not request any information that is personal. We’ll need, however, the login information for your old hosting account as well as the name of the web site that you need to transfer.

A: In order for us to begin the migration of your web hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to disclose literally the same details you have given to your current web host. We also have a very rigid Privacy Policy, which specifies how private info is used.

A: Your site will continue to work just like it did before with your former hosting provider. After we have completed the migration, your site will be configured to work on our system and we will ask you to preview it. If everything is working correctly, all you will have to do is update the NS records associated with your domain. Your site will be migrated over to us with no downtime.

A: While we move your website content, your web hosting provider won’t be aware of the transfer at all. We won’t touch base with them in any way.

A: We can transfer your site from any hosting provider or any Linux–driven hosting platform on condition that we can gain access to the Control Panel and there is FTP access available.The only web sites that we can’t migrate are the ones based on closed–source software applications like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
